As you may have seen, I have gotten the ball rolling with the creation of AIDSWalk Richmond. I hope to grow this event so that it becomes a true signal of strength in the community of Richmond by gathering all who are impacted by this disease. Right now we are at the end of the planning stages of its creation. Now comes the fun part! (Not really)
Next step is City Hall! I am ready to file the articles of incorporation and file for 501(C)(3) status. The fees I am looking at right now come to a grand total of $855. This is where I need your help.
Please come to PEARL tonight to show your support for the creation of AIDSWalk Richmond. The $3 cover from the evening will go directly to the fees of legally creating the organization.
PEARL is located at 1713 E Main Street in Shockoe Bottom. There is also a show tonight featuring Michelle and special guests.
