We feel we have to gather in packs and show RVA how special and different we are. We want acceptance but we don't want to be a normative part of the overall culture. We are like a rebellious teenager trying to find our place in the world. We are the enlighten ones that must show others who are gay, lesbian, bi or transgender how to live their lives. Jeez guys, I'm gay, totally out-of-the-closet and support GayRVA but this has to be the most obnoxious write up of an event I’ve ever read.
