In December 2011, a three-judge panel of the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals upheld a lower court’s decision and rejected the claim of Jennifer Keeton.  She believed that her First Amendment rights were violated when Augusta State University required her to treat LGBT people in a respectful and nondiscriminatory way. ...

I’ve never been a huge fan of dance music. I find it extremely repetitive and annoying and never understand why the gay boys get into such a frenzy when the Lady Gaga song they know by heart (after listening to it a million times) is played.

That being said, it’s always nice to see something good come out of a style you don’t care for. A good artist can open your eyes and expose you to something completely new.

NYC electronic glam rock duo Dangerous Muse, whose most recent single “I Want It All” has been stuck on my brain for a bit, bring their show down to Alley Katz on April 1 with the hypnotic beats of Jessica 6.

Alley Katz seems like a very weird place for music like this, since I always picture punk and hardcore bands when I think of Alley Katz. Good to see they’re broadening their music acts a bit, if even for one night.

Their debut album, “Take Control,” will be released this Spring and was produced by Bloodshy & Avant (Madonna, Britney Spears, Miike Snow), Josh Harris (The Killers, Seal) and David Siskovic (Justin Timberlake, Gwen Stefani, Goldfrapp). A music video for the single was directed by visual artist Greko Sklavounos and it looks like they are taking a page from Lady Gaga’s book with the crazy costumes, visionary style and eye candy.

Don’t take my word for it. Just watch the video below.

Dangerous Muse has been no stranger to the popular dance charts. Their first single, 2006′s “The Rejection,” hit #2 on the iTunes Dance album charts upon its release and the music video had constant airplay on MTV’s LOGO Network. Dangerous Muse has appeared on the cover of The Advocate’s annual music issue, Perez Hilton, “Year End Ones to Watch” in the New York Daily News and have performed on LOGO’s NewNowNext award show.

And I’ve never heard of them until two days ago. That’s what happens you don’t follow the dance hits and listen to this out of the blue.

“I Want It All” is incredibly catchy and I’m sure in no time, I’m sure they’ll be dancing to it repeatedly over at Godfrey’s. Actually, I hope they don’t because then I’ll have to hate it.
