The Black Sheep on 901 W. Marshall Street

TasteTheRainbowWhen you order a sandwich called “The Battleship” at The Black Sheep, that’s what you get. A very large sandwich that will have to be finished the next day.

The Black Sheep is located at 901 W. Marshall St. in Carver and is open Tuesday – Sunday. The menu consists of various sandwiches, pasta and other assorted goodies in heaping portions. i.e. “The Battleship.” Seriously. Most of it’s cheap too, ranging from the $10-20 area.

The wait staff is friendly and down to earth and the crowd that hangs out there is usually the artsy crowd so bringing a date should be no problem at all. It never seems to be crowded when I’m in there, but word of mouth about this place has spread across town very fast. It tends to get crowded on Sundays as the suburbanites have discovered this place and tend to flock there after church and the line usually goes out the door.

I’m going to stop here and go finish my sandwich.
