Julie McCoy sent her e-mail to the masses. This month’s Fourth Friday Family & Friends gathering is at Bank & Vault.
Both the restaurant and the club below will be available that evening. If patrons print off the Socializer invitation, the cover after 10 p.m. will be waived. The monthly event brings together an array of people from inside and out of Richmond’s LGBT community.
Bank is located on 1005 E. Main St. To join the Fourth Friday mailing list, subscribe via Socializer. Did we mention Julie is on Facebook now?

After a full day with your own family, you can have another cup of Christmas cheer with this month’s Family & Friends Fourth Friday. That sassy hostess Julie McCoy is working with the New York Deli to do some good. Donate five canned goods for the food bank and receive a wrist band extending happy hour until 9:30. The event starts at 7 p.m.

Julie McCoy’s tour of Richmond continues. This month for Family and Friends Fourth Friday, the cruise director is taking you to Bogarts. If you remember, Bogarts recently left their home of many years on Lombardy and moved to 1903 W. Cary St. earlier this year.
Bogart’s in the Fan offers a casual atmosphere, good food, and fine music that has made it a Richmond tradition for nearly 40 years. They have off-street parking behind the restaurant, a huge patio, and a menu to fit any appetite. We have also been granted permission to park in the condo parking lot around the corner on Granby Street, but pay attention to the signs: there are spots designated for tenants only!

Julie McCoy
Our favorite socialite Julie McCoy is back at it – and is now all up in the Facebook. Maybe she’ll add you or if she’s too busy for all that she might ignore you, but don’t get offended. Kay?
From the mistress herself:
As the summer winds down, it’s time to return to some familiar territory to the beautiful urban beer garden at
CAPITAL ALE HOUSE!
The original Capital Ale House, located in the heart of downtown Richmond with its 46 taps, 2 cask conditioned ale hand pumps and a selection of over 200 bottled beers certainly has a beer for every taste. And if beer’s not your thing, they have a fully stocked bar too. (Don’t forget the great food!) We’ll be occupying the lower level gameroom and the beer garden to catch a last breath of that warm summer air.
At 6:30 on Friday, there is typically plenty of parking downtown, but if you can’t find a spot on the first pass, check out the parking deck at 6th and Main. You’ll find free parking there and be just around the corner!
RSVP and join the monthly mailing list via Socializer.
